Illustrating Homeless Dogs

As part of my research, I decided to browse Battersea and other dog rehoming websites just to see the types of breeds of dog that are without homes, in hopes that it will inform my character design. I picked out dogs that were all different, but the vast majority of the dogs were mixed breed.

I did these illustrations from the kennel photographs in watercolour and am very happy with them. I will use these drawings to influence the design of my dog character.
